Mentoring is a structured and trusting relationship that brings students together with adults who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of an At Risk student.

Mentors truly care about helping, they believe in others’ capabilities, are patient, kind, good listeners, are sensitive to the needs and circumstances of others, are approachable, outgoing, committed to long lasting relationships and are open to different points of view.
